Thunder Castle bags best football club award
Good Team Buriram PEA or Thunder Castle was named the best football club for 2011 season at the Siam Golden Ball award presentation held on February 12 at the Golden Tulip Soferin Hotel in Bangkok.
The award for the best rising star footballer went to Chakkaphan Kaewprom, a 23-year old midfielder, of Buriram PEA whereas Frank Acheampong of Buriram PEA was named the best foreign player.
The recipients of the other awards presented on the same occasion are as follows:

Best Youth Footballer : Chanathip Songkrasin of BEC Terosasana
Best Upcountry Footballer : Pornchai Artchinda of Ratchaburi FC
Top Scorer of Thai Premier League : Franck Ohandza
Top Scorer of Division 1 : Puvadol Suwanchat of Chainat FC and Adisak Srikampang of PTT Rayong.
The Most Valuable Footballer : Niwet Siriwong of Pattaya United
The Most Impressive Goal : Emfayea Enjoya of Kalasin FC in an away match with Loei City FC
The rising referee : Sakchai Fakthoen.
The Most Popular Player : Thirasilp Daengda of Muang Thong United.
